Do credits expire?
No. Balances persist for the life of the account. Run them down on your own cadence.
What counts as a billable call?
Per unique APN per calendar month. Repeated calls to the same APN within 30 days are served from cache and don't consume credits — confirmed by the cache_hit: true field on the response.
What if I run out mid-month?
Your API key keeps working — the failing call gets a 402 with the required and current cents, and you can top up from /dashboard/billing in under a minute. Enable auto-recharge to never see a 402.
Can I get NET 30 invoicing?
Scale-tier customers can opt into NET 0 weekly invoicing (card-on-file, charged on delivery) in lieu of prepaid packs. We don't extend AR float — that's the whole reason we can list at this price.
How does this compare to the legacy NHD providers?
Legacy CA NHD providers list at $25–$35 per report and bundle through title escrow. $8 per /v1/parcel is a 70–80% undercut and skips the title channel entirely. At 1,000 reports/month that's roughly $264,000/year back on your P&L.
